What’s Inside the Guide

Here’s How This Workbook Helps: This isn’t another checklist that tells you what to pack or how many swaddles you need. It’s a guide that helps you slow down, tune in, and decide what really matters to you. Inside, you’ll:

  • Define your peace of mind so your care team knows exactly how to support you — no guessing, no assumptions — and make choices guided by evidence, not noise.

  • Plan for real, lasting support that carries you from pregnancy through postpartum, so you feel cared for at every stage.

  • Stay grounded and confident with simple, daily practices and thoughtful postpartum preparation that protect your calm when it matters most.

Who This Is For and

What Makes this Guide Different?

Aside from the fact that it’s written by someone who’s supported thousands of births and raised five kids through it all...

  • Figure out what you actually need

and how to say it out loud to your provider and support people without second‑guessing yourself

  • Ditch the overstuffed lists

this one filters out the noise and leaves you with what actually matters.

  • Pick your one source of truth

Spoiler: it’s you, guided by evidence, not fear.

  • Spot who really supports you

This isn’t just about your OB - it's about who makes you feel safe, seen, and strong.

Kathy Bradley, IBCLC, CBE, CD

From Our CEO

“I believe that when a woman feels safe, heard, and genuinely supported, something powerful happens – she’s able to soften into the uncertainty, find her own rhythm, and grow into motherhood with strength and self-trust. In that protected space, free from judgment or pressure, transformation unfolds naturally.”  Kathy Bradley pioneered  The Peace of Mind Method™ – a transformative approach to perinatal support.

The Peace of Mind Method™

A clear, compassionate model built around what modern families truly need – practically, emotionally, and instinctively.

Where it all Began

With over 33 years in the maternal health field, Kathy Bradley is a Certified Childbirth Consultant™, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and respected VBAC specialist. As the founder and visionary behind Childbirth Concierge®, she has pioneered a compassionate, evidence-based approach to supporting growing families and training professionals.

A mother of five herself, Kathy blends clinical expertise with genuine empathy. She spent 14 years in maternal health at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando, where she earned a reputation for excellence in care. Now serving families across Central Florida and the Space Coast, Kathy offers private consultations, professional education, and lactation support—all grounded in the belief that every parent deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued from the very start.

What Families Face

Even in areas with exceptional clinical care, today’s parents are navigating an entirely new layer of pressure. With the constant stream of online opinions, growing expectations, and decision fatigue brought on by social media, modern motherhood often feels more overwhelming than ever. Many families feel anxious, unseen, or unsure – despite being surrounded by capable providers.

Kathy saw these patterns emerging firsthand. She noticed a gap between what families medically received and what they emotionally needed. Parents weren’t just looking for clinical support – they needed someone to prepare them, advocate for them, and walk alongside them with consistency and calm.

That’s why she created Childbirth Concierge® – to offer a higher-touch, fully integrated model of care that supports families from pregnancy through postpartum, with professionalism, compassion, and peace of mind.

The Support She Created

The model Kathy created through Childbirth Concierge® was designed to fill the emotional and educational gaps too often left by traditional care. Drawing on over three decades of experience, she developed a high-touch, client-centered approach that blends clinical insight with compassion – and trains professionals to deliver that same standard of care.

Kathy actively mentors and equips health professionals to carry out her vision: supporting families with continuity, clarity, and a deep respect for the transformative journey of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Every touchpoint at Childbirth Concierge® reflects the values she built it on – personalized guidance, expert care, and peace of mind for every family.

I stumbled upon the Birth concierge when looking for a child birth class for my husband and I to take upon the arrival of our first baby. We took their all inclusive course with Oliva who was fantastic. Everything that was covered my husband and I used during birth in the hospital. From stretches together to interventions that had to be done. We felt very prepared and I highly recommend. From there I reached out to Kathy for lactation help. I even reached out to her while I was in the hospital day of birth.

Shelly, Kathy, Teresa, and Kara have taken AMAZING care of us and our twins the past 3 months through postpartum doula/night nurse and lactation consultant support. We would not have been able to survive the newborn phase without them - I would not hesitate to recommend Childbirth Concierge (and do recommend them to everyone I know in the Orlando & Space Coast area). I felt like they were an extension of our family and know that my twins have benefited immensely from the love & care they’ve received.

Our postpartum doula, Jessica Murray, whom we met through Childbirth concierge has been an integral part of our postpartum experience. I am so grateful for her care during these precious first months. She cared for our infant as well as our family with compassion, tenderness, and love. She is incredibly helpful with household tasks and made sure I was getting fed, rest, and my needs met as well. If you are in doubt in hiring postpartum support, don’t be! It’s the best decision you can make for you and your baby.
